Installation requirements for Rexroth variable motors Safety instructions

During commissioning and operation, the axial piston unit must always be filled with hydraulic oil and drained. Precautionary measures must also be observed after longer periods of decommissioning, as the axial piston unit may drain hydraulic oil back into the tank via the hydraulic lines.

The oil drained from the pump housing must be discharged into the tank via the high discharge ports (T1, T2).

For combinations of multiple units, make sure that the corresponding case pressure for each unit is not exceeded. Where there is a pressure difference at the equipment discharge ports, the common discharge line must be replaced so that the smaller permissible case pressure of all connected equipment is not exceeded under any circumstances. If this is not possible, separate oil drain lines should be laid if necessary.

In order to be able to develop favorable noise values, the separation of all data connection lines should be carried out using elastic elements and avoiding installation above the oil tank.

Under all operating conditions, the case discharge line must lead into the tank at a low oil level.

Rexroth motors are designed for open and closed circuit use.

-Planning, installation and commissioning of the project development of the axial piston unit must be available to qualified staff.

-Read the corresponding instruction manual completely before using the axial piston unit.

-The axial piston unit (especially the solenoid) may present a risk of combustion during operation. Appropriate safety measures (e.g. wearing protective clothing) should be taken.

-The characteristics of the axial piston unit may vary depending on the operating conditions (operating pressure, oil temperature).

-Working line oil ports.

-Oil ports and fixed threads are designed primarily for larger specified pressures. The machine or system manufacturer must be able to ensure that the safety-related coefficients of the connecting elements and piping can meet the nationally defined working environment conditions (pressure, flow, hydraulic oil, temperature).

-Working line ports and functional ports are only to be used for piping through the Hydraulic System.

The data and instructions contained herein must be followed.

-Use the following fastening

-Mounting bolts .

For a mounting bolt with a metric ISO thread according to DIN 13, we have developed a recommendation to analyze and check the tightening torque according to VDI 2230 in a separate enterprise.

-Threaded holes for axial plunger units:

Higher permissible tightening torque MG The higher value is a larger value for threaded holes and must not be exceeded.

. Locking screws .

For metal locking screws supplied with the axial plunger unit, the required tightening torque Mv for the locking screw should be used.
